The 48V / 600Ah lead-acid battery and the heavier-duty 12 kW lift motor put this truck a tier above small 24-volt 3-wheel electrics — the EK25GB is configured for full-shift work with pallet weights up to 5,000 lb.
The truck is rated at a 24-inch load center with a 189-inch (15.75 ft) maximum lift height and a 47.48-inch free lift — tall enough to load and unload trailers without striking the trailer roof, which is the spec that decides whether a free-lift mast is the right choice for an operation. Lowered mast height is 83 inches.

Can the EK25GB run outdoors?
Yes — on paved or smooth-concrete outdoor surfaces. The solid pneumatic tires carry tread grip suitable for paved yards, loading aprons, and well-maintained pavement, and the 15% laden gradeability handles dock ramps and short inclines. The truck is not configured for rough terrain, gravel, or muddy yards; for that environment, choose a dedicated rough-terrain forklift.
What does the “47.48-inch free lift” mean, and why does it matter?
Free lift is the distance the forks can rise before the inner mast starts to extend above the lowered mast height. A high free-lift mast lets the operator lift a full pallet inside a trailer or under a low ceiling without the mast itself pushing up into the ceiling. The EK25GB’s 47.48-inch free lift is the spec that decides whether this truck fits trailer-loading and low-ceiling work; verify against your trailer interior and ceiling heights.
What charger does it come with?

Why lead-acid and not lithium?
The EK25GB ships with a 48V / 600Ah lead-acid battery. Lead-acid is the long-established chemistry for industrial electric forklifts at this size — lower up-front cost than lithium, mature service infrastructure, and well-understood maintenance routines (water topping, equalize cycles, ventilation requirements). EKKO offers separate lithium-equipped models when buyers want opportunity charging and zero acid maintenance.
