Description
-The EKKO EK20TLP is a 4-wheel LPG (propane) forklift built for 4,000 lb material handling work in warehousing, distribution, and general industrial environments. It runs on a Tier 4 EPA-compliant Kubota or PSI 2.4L engine, mounts solid pneumatic tires for mixed indoor / outdoor surfaces, and ships pre-plumbed for hydraulic attachments via a Shimadzu® 4-Way Valve, with a Cascade® Side Shift already integrated.
EKKO Lifts has manufactured Class I–V material handling equipment from its 50,000+ sq ft facility in Pomona, California since 2008. The EK20TLP sits in the LPG / IC line of that catalog and is built to handle the day-to-day throughput of pallet-handling work without the runtime constraints of a battery-electric truck.
The mast lifts to 185 in with a 43.7 in free-lifting height, the load center is rated at the standard 24 in, and the truck travels at up to 11.8 mph unloaded (10.6 mph loaded). The operator station is built around a semi-suspension seat, a small steering wheel, and electro-hydraulic direction changing for repeated cycle work, with a lowering damping device inside the lifting system to reduce mast shock and the noise of loads setting down.
Features
-- Tier 4 EPA-compliant LPG engine — Kubota or PSI 2.4L; meets CARB 4 regulation for California operators.
- Cascade® Side Shift integrated; Shimadzu® 4-Way Valve pre-plumbed for additional hydraulic attachments.
- Enlarged operator space with a heightened overhead guard using a large-arc front leg.
- Semi-suspension seat with cushion connection and full suspension cab to absorb truck vibration.
- Small steering wheel, electro-hydraulic direction changing, and an automotive-style double combined switch for driving comfort during repeated cycles.
- Lowering damping device in the lifting system reduces mast shock and the noise of loads being set down.
- Optimized hydraulic system designed for lower fuel consumption.
- Small turning radius for flexible steering in tighter aisles.
- Solid pneumatic tires (7.00-12-12PR front, 6.00-9-10PR rear) for mixed indoor / outdoor warehouse and yard work.
- Hydraulic floor-pedal service brake.

FAQ
-Can the EK20TLP be used indoors?
The engine is rated Tier 4 EPA-compliant and meets CARB 4, which supports indoor operation in California and similar jurisdictions when the facility provides the ventilation that propane equipment requires. As with any IC forklift, confirm ventilation and air-quality requirements with your facility’s environmental health and safety lead before deploying indoors.
What attachments does the truck support out of the box?
The EK20TLP ships with the Cascade® Side Shift already integrated and a Shimadzu® 4-Way Valve pre-plumbed at the mast. The pre-plumb means additional hydraulic attachments can be connected without rerouting the hydraulic circuit.
Are the tires suited to mixed indoor and outdoor surfaces?
The truck mounts solid pneumatic tires (7.00-12-12PR front, 6.00-9-10PR rear). Solid pneumatics handle smooth concrete, paved yards, and lightly broken outdoor lots without the puncture risk of air-filled pneumatics.
What clearance does the lifted mast need?
Mast collapsed height is 83 in. Free lifting height is 43.7 in. With forks fully raised, overall height is 225 in. Confirm dock door clearance and rack-top clearance against your specific facility before ordering.
