Description
-The EKKO EK18AT-216Li is a 3-wheel lithium-ion electric forklift built for 4,000 lb material handling work in loading docks, stock rooms, manufacturing floors, and warehousing. It lifts to 212 in, runs on an AC drive system with a 4.75 kW drive motor and a 10 kW lift motor, and ships with the 48 V / 202 Ah lithium battery, 48 V / 100 A charger, Cascade® Side Shift, and Shimadzu® 4-Way Valve all included.
EKKO Lifts has manufactured Class I–V material handling equipment from its 50,000+ sq ft facility in Pomona, California since 2008. Lithium-ion battery technology is a meaningful part of EKKO’s identity — lithium models carry a -Li suffix on the model number, signalling the faster charging, lower maintenance, and longer cycle life that lithium chemistry provides over lead-acid.
The 3-wheel design delivers a tight 61 in turning radius and a narrow 41.5 in overall width for narrow-aisle work, while dual motors and a 20% laden gradient capability let the truck handle ramps and dock approaches that lighter electric trucks can’t. Service weight with battery is 7,550 lb, lowered mast height is 83.1 in, and free lift is 54.6 in. Solid pneumatic tires (200/50-10 front, 140x55-9 rear) cover smooth indoor floors and lightly worn outdoor surfaces.

FAQ
-What electrical service does the charger need?
The standard charger is a 48 V / 100 A unit configured for 3-Phase 480V service. EKKO also offers 220V and 110V charger options for facilities without 3-phase 480V available. Confirm your facility’s electrical service with us before ordering so the correct charger ships with the truck.
Why lithium-ion over a lead-acid battery?
Lithium-ion batteries at this voltage tier deliver consistent power output across the full discharge cycle (no end-of-shift slowdown), accept opportunity charging during breaks without harming cycle life, and require no watering or terminal-cleaning maintenance. Cycle life is materially longer than lead-acid for comparable energy storage, which is why lithium is meaningful enough to EKKO that it carries the -Li suffix on the model number.
Can the truck handle ramps and dock approaches?
The EK18AT-216Li is rated at 20% laden climbing ability — meaningful for crossing dock plates, ramps, and graded transitions that lighter electric trucks can’t. Dual motors deliver the power and stability the supplier calls out for handling beyond flat-floor work.
What ships with the truck?
The truck includes the 48 V / 202 Ah lithium battery, the 48 V / 100 A charger (configured for your facility), the Cascade® Side Shift, the Shimadzu® 4-Way Valve, hydraulic steering, adjustable forks, and ergonomic operator controls — no separate power package or attachment package to source before the truck can start working.
How tight can the truck turn?
The 3-wheel design gives a 61 in minimum turning radius with a 41.5 in overall width. Both are narrow-aisle-friendly numbers, which is the main reason buyers pick a 3-wheel design at this capacity tier over a 4-wheel counterbalance truck.
